About the author

Elias Muñoz is an author whose work celebrates faith, family, and the power of personal transformation. The heart of his story begins with adolescence in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, CA during the 1990s — a backdrop of culture, struggle, and identity that shaped the early chapters of his life. His memoir, Warm Milk and Sugar, shares the intimate moments, spiritual lessons, and cultural roots that formed his journey toward healing — healing from addiction, military service in war, relapse, PTSD, and the long fight for recovery, until he ultimately surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.

Elias writes with authenticity and encouragement, offering hope to anyone navigating difficult seasons of life. He embraces who he is and honors the people who raised him, guided him, and helped him become the man he is today. His belief that God uses every chapter — even the painful ones — for a greater purpose is at the heart of his storytelling.

Elias lives in Southern California with his family and is currently working on his next book.
